The pipe itself is part of the old building’s infrastructure. I really don’t know the intention of the can and coil on the pipe. Looked like a normal tin can and a bed spring. It looks like art from this perspective, but the coil and can feel like a sadder story of someone homeless staying there a long while ago.

I’ll actually need to double check the test tube rack now. I assumed the bowing was from the rack and never considered the lens. A lot of the equipment in the labs get used and abused, so a bowed rack isn’t out of the question. I’ll definitely look into it so I can make the adjustments for this lens in the future if that turns out to be the case.
There was just a cluttered lab bench behind, which I was trying to avoid since it was distracting. I probably could have composed something more interesting in the back with time, but this was more spur of the moment. Someone else suggested other test tubes in the background that I thought was a good idea. It’d probably help diffuse the brown background a bit.
Unfortunately no deep space for me, though, I’ll point my camera up when there is something interesting going on (see below!!). My lab is chemical, so I sit staring at computers most of the day. I’m hoping to get some shots of my lab today now that Irma and the rain is finally gone.
