Allows Edits? NoOH I love that shot!
I considered changing mine to bw or vintage, but I think the colors work well. When I shot it the entire dock was empty. It was kind of eery. I almost walked past the bench but it caught the corner of my eye and the whole place just seemed so lonely.countrytime photographyParticipant- Allows Edits: No

Allows Edits? NoI use to take criticism against my photography personally. It’s one of the few things I’m passionate about. But I don’t any longer. I was just trying to explain why I shot it that way. If you seen the shot before editing I think you would understand why I chose to edit this way. I’m not a huge fan of editing; however, I think in some cases it’s a must.

Allows Edits? NoI wasn’t shooting a photograph. This is a replica that is carved into a mountain in Portland Oregon at The Grotto. I was not dead center but actually off to the right quite a ways.
The idea of darkening the background lessening the light on the statue was to give some depth of what I was feeling when I looked at it.countrytime photographyParticipant- Allows Edits: No

Allows Edits? NoThank you, I’ll keep that in mind for future posts. This was my first attempt at shooting IR. It was taken with a D70 that has been fully converted to IR. I’ll go into the image and the details for you.

Allows Edits? NoI should have given the information about the camera so I apologize. I took this when Ashley was just 12 (over five years ago) in the abandoned graveyard of the very first settlers and founders of Eugene Or; hence the name. It was shot in BW with a Fuji that did not have the ability to change lenses.
I have an entire series with her shot in this location and a few others are actually in my album.countrytime photographyParticipant- Allows Edits: No

Allows Edits? NoI like the fact that you shot the profile rather than the front of her face. It’s not an angle we see often. đŸ™‚
