Being sharkish. The composition is cramped & lacking a decent point of interest. The processing is okay but the dark, shadowy band across the top is really distracting. It’s long exposure water, tick, but what am I supposed to be looking at?

Cheers for the thoughts Bucweeet, I’d like to think the workflow I had in mind was flexible but identifiable. Not what I thought I’d be doing in that it’s harking back to old school methods. I’d much rather be ‘cutting edge’! But I am just a middle-aged punk…

The obvious thing for me, as someone who’s posted a similar shot recently, is that you’ve got your subject in the trees when she should be framed in the bright spot? That just makes for visual complications that take away?
