I fully enjoyed seeing the Cherry and Azalea blooms with raindrops on them. Very good use of a shallow depth of field to blur the background and yet maintain sharpness in your subject.

The rain drops on the web remind me of a mine field surrounding the spider and her prey. My compliments on positioning yourself so the light (blurred) area is behind the spider, very effectively separating her from the background.

Love the colors and strong silhouette. At first glance I didn’t realize this is two horses and two riders, but knew there was something “different” about it. Makes you study the image more, and actually “see” a lot more, and that is what we strive for in our art form. Great timing – great capture.Check It Out

I too really like the lighting in this image. Were it mine, I would crop the dark area on the left only, which would move Zoe off center and IMHO create a stronger image. I fully agree that having her “emerge” from the darkness is key to the image, and that is the dark area on the right.
