Personally I’d put her a little off center and eliminate some of that space between her and the right side of the frame.

having a hard time being negative here so I’ll agree with @jvatnd and say a more colorful background would make this just super.

I think it would be better if both flowers were facing the same way (towards you).
I’m a little puzzled by your description of “flowers moving in the breeze” though. These flowers look really still.

From looking at the highest resolution, it looks like maybe this was a handheld shot? If so using a tripod could make it better? It would also allow you to do a long exposure over the water, which is all the rage these days.
I might’ve tried taking a step or two to the left and trying it with the canoe at more of an angle instead of…[Read more]

If you have access to edit software, I’d suggest trying to take out the ice/frost from the nose and lips.

Have to agree that having some other elements in the frame would give it a boost. Looks like the osprey was pretty high up though.

I was driving some gravel roads one morning looking for landscape shots and noticed this bird on the fence post. A type of bird I hadn’t seen before. I backed up the car and he didn’t move. I shot from the drivers seat because I thought he’d skeedaddle if I got out of the car.

Her skin looks a little on the red side to me, but maybe its intentional.
I suppose my biggest issue is that the photo itself doesn’t convey “its a hard life” to me. This person looks kinda happy and I don’t see what’s so hard about her life..?

Colors seem a little harsh and unnatural to me, but I don’t know flowers — maybe this flower really does look like that!
Also I think the flowers fill too much of the frame. Maybe try with more background space or include more of the plant if possible.

I like all of the elements (clouds, branch, barn, wagon) but I wish they were arranged a little differently. I guess it bugs me that the wagon is blocking the barn.

I feel the train track pieces don’t really fit with the pirate hat, and her pose is a little awkward with the pieces behind her.

Its not in focus? I suppose that’s due to the long exposure time…?

I find the lamp and the bright decoration distracting — too prominent. You may not have had many choices about where to sit, but I think it would’ve been better if you could’ve moved to the left to give some more separation between the subject and the lamp/decorations.

I’d say get closer to the mascot. Maybe shoot lower so the flag is above the head rather than blocking it (looks like it was crowded there though). Maybe the whole flag doesn’t need to be in the shot, so the mascot would be the primary subject.

Duane Wessels replied to the topic Escaping the Screen in the forum The Shark Tank Feedback Forum 10y, 9mo ago
I’d lose the little fish resting on the mousepad. The angle of the water coming out of the screen kinda hurts my brain. Maybe that’s what you were going for. If not maybe it can look more natural by shooting the water or the laptop at a different angle.
