Overall I like the shot! The only thing that sticks out to me is my eyes were immediately drawn to the glare/reflection in her left lens! That should be removable in post processing!
Really well done. Although I tried to find something I didn’t like I could not! Love photo’s that show motion.
Nice shot! Contrast yes! Also consider more blacks that will also make the pic pop! Also try reducing the exposure down by 1/3 of an F/stop! Could also ad something! Thinking out loud!
Nice pic and love the moving clouds! What time of day was this taken?
Thanks for feedback everyone! I agree with pretty much all of it! I guess that’s what you get taking this kind of shot in the middle of the day! The background is grass and a block wall! I was attemping to totally blur the background while getting the bird tack sharp! Although accomplished the photo falls far short in many respects. Anyone have any ideas how maybe this sort of shot could have worked! Always learning!
Thanks to all again! Don

What a great shot!@ The road does not distract me at all! Great coloring and I love the fact that the shadows are dark as this is what the eye would see!
What part of the SW do you live? – Phoenix here! Also where was this photo taken?
You are right! Sorry! One mans Hugo is another’s Mercedes! Everyone’s opinion is important! Again I apologize to @berniew.
Boring, I think not! I could see Toyota using this pic to promote their car! Nice composition!
Would love to know what your camera settings were! Without regard, very nice pic of a timeless, classic photo!
@falx Your first one I was not a big fan! This pic tells a story! My eyes went right to the little girls eyes and then to the cube! The girl is soo cute and her expression is priceless! Well done my friend, well done!
There was potential here! Along with what the others said the image appears to be crooked!
Nice sharpness and mirror! I think we need to see more of that hill/mountain! Feels very cut-off!
Agree with @nikon-nut. Yup its a rubics cube! Sharp and in focus! What is it you are trying to accomplish here?
June 20, 2014 at 8:34 pm in reply to: New here. Looking forward to learning from and getting to know you all. #140551Really nice shot here and like the job you did cropping! Possibly a little more contrast which should also tone done the bright green grass
Great advice @nikon-nut, thank you!
@nikon-nut is there any other place to shop for equipment other than Ebay! I am there with ya my friend!
I can live with the towel as it provides a foreground of sort and love how part of the towel and the cat’s face are in focus and the rest progressively goes out of focus! The white on white also provides a nice effect! This gives me many ideas!
I looked, looked and looked! I find nothing to nitpick about! Nice one!
Sweet! Love the tones and all the reflections! Very nice job! Very unique! It’s amazing that if we just open our eyes and really look at things the possibilities out there.
