      I’m not a big fan of the HDR look, so I’ll stick with the first one. The colors seems a little unnatural to me in the second one.

      Of course you can make a HDR without the tradional HDR look.. and I think this is the best option (if done right).

          It’s a view of two cities in Brazil: NiterĂ³i (foreground) and Rio de Janeiro (background – you can see the Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer statue), from the NiterĂ³i’s city park (my hometown).

          Actually this photo is a (pseudo) HDR – a single raw file expanded to -2, -1, 0, +1, +2 EV. I hope it doesn’t look like one.. I tried to make it as realistic as possible.

            – It seems a little out of focus to me.

            – There’s some noise too.

            – There’s a dust spot on the mid-top right

            I’d try an unsharp mask, a noise reduction filter, and a healing brush to correct the dust spot
