    In my opinion the bland featureless sky detracts from the image. I think this image would have worked better by getting in closer and much lower down and composed the image using a combination of the river, bridge and tree, excluding as much of the bland sky as possible, if not completely.

  • In my experience the automatic sensor clean will only shake off the very lightest of dust and a full sensor clean is the only way to remove stubborn dust marks from the sensor, leaving you free to work at any aperture you choose and not having to clone out dust marks in post production.

  • I agree with the previous comments. The blurred areas of the image are a distraction, particularly the area at the top left of the image, which in my view leads the eye out of the image, rather than following the natural lead in line from the bench in the foreground to the figures walking in the distance.   • Producing abstract images works well with a shallow depth of field. We all suffer from sensor dust, but in my experience using an aperture of around f/4 should result in an image which does not include sensor dust spots and the laborious post editing to remove them from the final image.Check It Out
