Of COURSE the “Forbidden Fruit” are the APPLES in the foreground tree – while the removal of all the major coal seams in the area – from under the foothills – depicted by the “NEW TIPPLE” for open cut mining – producing the “WINDS of CHANGE” of the town of Sparwood – the WIND PATTERNS have drastically changed over these last 30 Years or so

Your comment is QUITE a co-incidence because after arriving back in Canada in 1996 – Dreams showed me to show Children how to paint – and as I had never really painted in my life – they also showed me to use – CRAYOLA MARKERS water & paint brushes.
This “MARKER ART” with the Children lasted three years – then Dreams changed to using Sawdust/Egg Shells Powdered then again another change to “HEAT GUN” all with “Metallic Paints” as abstracts
Maybe just maybe this “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” Elk River is just Crayola Markers taking another twist and turn in my life
