I think the sunset is quite soft and pretty and the dark mountain brings contrast, also the furthest point of the image draws you in but then I was there and loved it 🙂 Perhaps I should have enhanced it to make it more dramatic, but I like the natural light. Maybe sometimes we takes photos that please our own eye and expect others to see what we see?
I’m hoping this is a bit better!
Thanks, I did think the same. I wish I’d taken a wider view.
OK, I guess I’ll just do it here! Do I have too much of the scene reflected in the water, and should I have shown more of the scene above?
I feel a bit upside down on here 🙂 where do I ask for critique??
Thanks.
Yes I do think the crop enhanced it.
The tree and sky are now the main point of focus but the black at the top and bottom still frame them without overwhelming them.Hi, I’ve cropped it a bit at the bottom and top, please let me know if you think it works better. I’m not sure how to post it here so I’ll put it on again as Sunrise Kruger Park Cropped.
Thanks to you all 🙂Thanks for the feedback everyone, Yup Wildebeest or any life form would have been great – they came out later, late sleepers! I’ll share on another post and see what you think 🙂 I did crop the bottom a bit and it does look better but without the dark sky it seems to loose something.
I’ve taken out some of the black at the bottom of the photo but no matter what I do there is NO detail in the dark clouds, it was really dark apart from that ray of light. Would you take out the dark sky altogether?
Thanks for the feedback.
Lovely content and colour but a little out of focus.
The flower itself should fill the frame.
