Thanks for the input. Agree about the candle. It has a nice shape that is hard to see here. Will work on that.
I see that line now too. Good eyes! Not sure what the heck that is!
Appreciate your comments, as always.
Thank you. I will play around with those ideas. I did choose the background to look a little sad. But That lost the candle for me.
Yes, Stackables app also DistressedFx. And I started with Snapseed 1st.
Thanks much. I will check the link out.
I don’t know enough to offer suggestions, but it’s very pretty and the depth of field is great.
MaureenWelcome, from another learner!
Thank you. Not a lot of processing, just 2 apps- DistressedFx and Stackables app. I agree about the candle edge, it has a nice melty look I wanted to show, just couldn’t get it to do so.
Thx for comments.
MaureenSorry, thought I’d put it in: ISO 200. f 2.2. 1/1000 50mm. Thx for insights.
MaureenThank you!

November 14, 2014 at 8:00 pm in reply to: My other hobby, real estate photos. Please review. #162898I will try that. But if I’m pointing the flash up, which I do sometimes if I’m lucky enough to have a nice white ceiling, why use a diffuser?
I will try to turn off the bright ones. These agents all think every light needs to be on…. I go behind her and turn off the lamps she always puts on!!
Thanks for your comments!November 14, 2014 at 7:57 pm in reply to: My other hobby, real estate photos. Please review. #162897I will. The other issue with tripods is room. Some of her listings are teeny little houses crowded with too much furniture. Was thinking of maybe a monopod?
Your comments are great, thank you.November 14, 2014 at 7:56 pm in reply to: My other hobby, real estate photos. Please review. #162896What a fabulous idea- the screen thing. I can’t wait to try it! I have tried all kinds of metering tricks, to no real avail. Thank you, I’ll let you know how it works!
Hi. The subject was the Sycamore and I placed the filter on to make it sort of dreamy and pale. It was rather unremarkable otherwise. Thx all
I beat it to death in post as it was an ordinary photo. Didn’t work. Thx, appreciate comments
It was a rather unremarkable photo, hence the post processing. I agree with you. Thx
November 14, 2014 at 5:00 am in reply to: My other hobby, real estate photos. Please review. #162760The lighting is the hardest part. No tripod, my client ( the real estate agent) always in a hurry). Blown out windows the biggest issue. Thx much.

Ok, thx
