I don’t have PSE on my computer, I’m almost positive your problem is because the file is in 16 bit mode though. IN PS it’s Image > Mode > 8 Bit / 16 Bit. That’s where I’d look in PSE too.

MikePanic wrote a new blog post: Focus Stacking in Photoshop: How to Get Pin Sharp Macro Shots 12y ago
The HDR trend has come and, for many, gone, but what came of it is the easy-to-digest concept that creating one photograph may actually require several images, then blend them together. For HDR photography it’s the need of multiple exposures to compensate for what a digital sensor cannot do on it’s own – properly expose […]

MikePanic wrote a new blog post: Do You Make These Catastrophic Mistakes in Family Photography? 12y, 1mo ago
Family portraits that may be hanging in your grandparents house probably don’t look very fun, but you still enjoy them because they are photos of your loved ones. MikePanic wrote a new blog post: Creative Filter Effects for the Indoor Photographer 12y, 1mo ago
Indoor photography scares the bajesus out of most photographers, and rightly so. Utilizing filters on lenses and flashes can change any photograph, using them specifically for indoor photography can be […]

MikePanic commented on the blog post Can You Really Get Great Shots With a Point and Shoot? 12y, 7mo ago
We all have feelings James, but the fact that the G series and SD series share the same sensor makes them essentially the same camera, in different packaging. Likewise, I can show you lots of pretty DSLRS that take horrible photos, mostly due to the person using them. The point of this article is that […]
