Thanks PW-Pix, never thought about that, I just had the lights on in the kitchen which are recessed in 10 foot ceilings and three hanging lights over the breakfast counter. Did not use a flash. Would the reflection still be on the granite counter top with side lighting? Would I have to purchase some commercial photo light? Or a lamp?

How would I toned down the yellow area? This picture was all natural, no photo shop, or any other enhancement or color changes. Would I need to buy some type of program to do what you mention?

I am a real beginner. thanks for the suggestions I will try to separate but I was trying to capture the reflection on the granite. If I were to use two different items with two different patterns would that be too busy?
