Very nice place to have a Xmas party.
Consider correcting the curved horizon and controlling the exposure (of the sky etc) by using a ND grad filter.
Back in 1967 or 1968 ……. All I have is transperencies.

Just copy the files across using your operating system.
The NEF files are Nikon RAW file.
Unless you specifically deleted them they still should be on your PC.
I don’t know how Picasa works.
I copy the files to my PC and make a backup to an external hard drive.Then I import them into Lightroom (Where the files will now be in your import destination folder). Then I edit them and export the edited pictures in what ever format I want.
The editing data is attached or linked (you can control how this is done in lightroom) to the original RAW file which remains unchanged.Then the lightroom files are backed up.
Just copy the files across using your operating system.
