This coffee pic is fun, fun 🙂
Thank you, much! This site has really helped me with composition for sure.
Yeah! Ishmael, by Daniel Quinn. I read it in my 20s; this guys answers a want ad in the classifieds for a job, and ends up in a room with a wise gorilla who tells him the secrets of the universe, according to the wise gorilla. It’s great 🙂
Candids are my favorite, favorite. This is such a great image; it makes me think of “Sliding Doors”, as if these two will be marrying some other version of each other in some parallel universe, and are on their way to separate weddings, just sliding by these versions of each other unseen.
Yeah, this throwdown totally rocks!
Nice!
Porkchop is a flirt!
Hahaha!
The gorilla looks so intelligent! Makes me want to read “Ishmael” again.
Hahaha! He DOES look like Trump, lol!
I love her!!!
This one is my favorite. Just stunning.
AMAZING! You totally rock.

August 10, 2016 at 10:18 am in reply to: Weekend Photography Challenge #291 Worms eye or birds eye! #264507Thank you 🙂 I took these an hour north of home. We went up in altitude to cool off; it’s nice to be able to experience such natural diversity in Arizona.

I felt like I was going to have to go to jail for assaulting an innocent camera at one point, but I kept it together. It’s a freebie, so no complaining really but at the same time the automatic setting and manual setting do not work at all. I can only work with the aperture setting (sand in the cam). So, it feels great to have a camera to practice with, but it is harder, especially on the go. Iphones just fit in your little purse, you know? When you’re zipping around, it takes a while to get used to hauling camera luggage. Plus I feel like the resolution isn’t as good and it makes me stomp my feet and howl.
