I do allot of model photography and the only thing I came up with since this looked to be a creative piece was the dust spots from the camera. Those were pretty distracting.

The leaf appears to hover on casual glance since the connecting stalk isn’t shown. The hovering in pitch black gives off an almost in-space feel.

I’m curious artistically if the light play would have worked without the highlights looking blown out?

I don’t believe it’s necessary to use the vignette for balancing the dark subject in the image

I do allot of model photography. Probably the biggest ding would be the hard shadows on her left side.

Nothing offending in this images to my sense. The two windows give it balance. The blues in sky and shirt on clothes line balance the primary blue color weight. Perhaps if the window on the right were more in frame?

The balance of this image feels off. The one strong pony is balanced by only a sliver of another pony. I would crop the booty of the one pony and recompose.

The crop is relative. In this case him leaving the frame adds a solemn feel to an exit. The vignette is distracting though

The crop could work if there was more of the landscape leading her in front. The way it is now the image is too crushed in. The washed-out look on this one isn’t my favorite and as mentioned before about the high key look, usually the brightest features attract one first.

Background was my only issue and I came up with that before reading your text. Hard series to shark. The top left image could have used a little off behind his head cropping wise. 🙂

The ears being upward was nice but the lack of detail in the fur quickly over took the view. The cheeks toward the nose seemed too photoshop smoothed.

The pier piles felt tilted to the right when I first glanced it. The angle is very subtle but one of those slightly noticeable details that distracted me.

The graininess of the background is the only thing that caught my eye. I wasn’t sure if it was from a sharpening filter or some HDR effect.
