Go with the Tamron Macro. ( In my opinion ) You need the focal distance. This was taken with a Tamron 90mm macro, and a Tamron macro with a DCR-250. About a 1″ away. I couldn’t have gotten close enough with only a 60mm lense. I do own a R1C1 ring light for macro. But […]

Thanks Tom. I needed that. I haven’t clicked a shutter in months except for a couple of the grand kids at Christmas. I just always seem to be to busy. Moving, training to run a marathon, doing volunteer work. All just BS I guess. I must reinspire myself somehow. Your posting helped. Thanks again.

I love them two! They are just sooo expressive! This ones are awake during the day so every time I get to work I see them. I’m happy I have my 70-300 mm telephoto, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to get their picture. They don’t like it if you get too close. But they are lovely to see
