Great shot!! Love your panorama – you even got an interesting sky – (I didn’t – it was just very grey). Good luck and safe travels.Check It Out

Great shot – lots of detail – looks to me to be lovely and sharp. I took this photo a few years ago, but first thing in the morning – no people at all – but nice light!Check It Out

Well done, I like it much better now. Try taking shots from all angles, as well as lying down, verticals. walk a few feet left and/or right – more sky, less sky – and perhaps a few at different exposures. Then you will have lots of ‘play with’ when you get back to base! Good luck.Check It Out

I also liked this – however, I put a piece of card over the sky and played around with this – and I think that less of the sky makes a better shot – my suggestion is to open your image up as full as possible on your screen and then put a piece of card over the top of your image and then go out of the room and come back and see it at a distance – I…[Read more]

I agree with the other remarks. The idea is good, but the foreground does not stand out enough for me. It is also not sharp enough and I personally do not like the dark spots on the leaves and would have cloned them out. Good composition though.Check It Out

I agree, the photo on Flicker looks a whole lot better. Nothing you can do about the dappled lighting of course, but it is a little distracting. Hope that this was a long lens1Check It Out

Hi, You are doing fine – it is practise…a reflector (just a piece of white card would help to get more light on her face).
Try looking through all types of magazines and make a scrapbook of poses that you like and share these with the model. Get her to move about and suggest happy face, sad droopy posture and so on, so that you have fun as…[Read more]

Good image. I Love Lucca one of my favorite places. Lot to see and do. If you are energetic enough – go up the tower with the tree growing out of the top! – Views are great.Check It Out

I agree with the remarks above – the background is far too busy and it is hard to know where dog ends and background starts.
I agree also about getting down on the floor to the animal’s level – more fun for you both?Check It Out

@nzredracer I agree with the comments above. Straighten and crop the image so that he is not skiing downhill.
I would also ‘flip’ the mage so that he is going left to right – just an idea.Check It Out

@david-zanin I agree, for me too many items in the image, I think that I would have removed the jar at the back and the white? on the left. Doesn’t always apply, but often “less is more”?Check It Out

@zlawati-2 Just a thought – there is a really useful article in my recent copy of Light Stalking called “Learn to See Photography With These 4 Tips”. This is by Jason Row and I always find his articles interesting and helpful.

@wasa36 I agree with the comments above – but I do recommend that you learn some post-processing – I believe Andsel Adams said that it was 40% camera and 60% in the dark room.
I have a ‘bundle’ of enhancement programs which are invaluable to me!
Good luck and keep on practisingCheck It Out

Like both images – especially the second. But you have halos around the trees – this is a fault, but I would have to leave this the pros to tell you more. Good luck with this site and the forum – both are very helpful
