no idea actually Diane – though in truth they are actually white in daylight – just turned out green when I did not use a flash at night.

October 4, 2013 at 9:06 pm in reply to: What is The Etiquette of Editing People's Photos on Light Stalking Forums? #109049I agree with much of what has been said. The problem you will always have guys is that some folk welcome constructive criticism, suggestions on how it could have been improved (myself in this group, being a newbie-photog), and those who are perhaps experienced enough to be happy with their ‘art’ as it is and not look for others to make suggestions or changes to it.
A simple solution might be to add an extra few lines of programming to the page so that by default, when a photo is uploaded, a pop-up window asks whether permission is given for the Light Stalking Moderation Group (or whatever) to edit and make suggestions for improvement. I imagine that a click in the box would cover everyone legally and prevent anyone coming back about their photo being edited without their permission.
Thanks for the encouraging feedback @karamen
Thanks 🙂
Thanks, very kind – I know I have a long way to go yet before I can even consider the possibility of such things. Appreciate the encouragement though, and any positive criticism :-), Trevor
