I didn’t comment earlier because everyone had already said what I was thinking. This crop is excellent in my opinion. Now the symmetry is the first thing the viewer sees.Check It Out

Well focused. The eye and feathers are clear. That’s the most important thing when photographing birds. I wonder if you could decrease the highlights where they are a bit blown out on the pelican’s neck. I’d also like to see more of the reflection, since what is there is brilliantly lit.Check It Out

To me it appears your settings worked very well. I’ve not done this well with stars yet. But I’d really like to see something interesting in the foreground.

Beautiful shot! I love how your background is divided into thirds. It looks geometric and natural at the same time.

I really like the stone building in the middle shot. That would be a great spot for light painting!Check It Out

I tried just uploading a more saturated version but that was not really satisfactory. I found a website that gave instructions for better photo uploads. http://support.viewbook.com/entries/55460-How-to-best-prepare-your-images-for-upload-color-profiles-
This came out much better.

I keep finding my eye attracted to the top of the bird’s head where the highlights are blown out. I do like the lines in the bricks.

Venetian LaundryI shot this on a trip to Venice last Fall with a Canon 5d mkii. This is my first post here. Any idea why the vivid colors of my original do not appear on the uploaded version?
