I love the church, grass and foreground colours which are nice & earthy, but the sea/lake in the background and the sky looks a wee bit too blue? But maybe that’s just me, as I’m not a fan of bright coloured sky/water (unless the foreground and main subject is a bright colour too).

Nothing beats real flowers. Sorry to say but I think fake flowers are too static and plastic-looking.
I like the depth and life-force of the living thing.

I have to agree with @calvinator. I think you have got two shots here.
The peacock (1) and the background scene of the stonework and courtyard (2). Personally I think you should get much lower and closer to the peacock and draw the viewer’s eye into the amazing detail of a peacock’s feathers (in doing so, you would throw the background into…[Read more]
