This is a photograph taken in a shed of a beautiful hard working farm woman who raises organic produce in Ireland. I'm planning to submit it as part of a portfolio that I need to submit in order to become a "Juried Artist in a local art association". I'd appreciate an honest critique of it.
The woman appears cut off at the ear..you feel an absence of seeing her head in full view.. The blurry object at the bottom right could be removed to prevent eye distraction. Another tactful approach would be to get in and crop right up to her face . Good luck in your endeavors.

1000 apologies I’m new to the group and was unaware of the picture click. Observing the photo once again the right side could be cropped or too, thinking it would look better to square the frame around her face. This would seem to grab viewers attention.
Have you considered this photo in black in white too.? It may be more appealing both square framed and black n white.. Making her facial expression center stage.
Thanks Jericho, I’ll try b&w which I’m typically drawn to. I think to only reason I didn’t is that Evon’s complexion and hair reminded me of my late wife.
