What got me hooked on photography was a BW picture my Mom took with what I think was a Kodak Brownie camera. It was a family snapshot, not very sharp, the type that you had to know who it was of to be able to see the resemblance, but I was intrigued and fascinated.
I don’t know how she acquired the camera, because we were poor. It must have been a big sacrifice.
Photography today combines my two primary areas of interest computers and picture taking. I can take as much shots as necessary (not concerned about how many pictures on the roll of film) and I can process them in the light on a computer without the need for the red light and wet baths.
I am looking forward to learning a lot and making some contribution to healthy discussions here.
My appreciation to the organizers and you, the participants.
Thank you…

Hello @boblngram welcome to our website. I agree about old film processing. Todays methods are much easier. We will look forward to seeing some of your posts in the future. Welcome.
