  Hello, I’ve been taking photos for more than 50 years, and unfortunately I’m not very proficient in using cameras and editing images. I purchased a Canon DSLR in 2006 and wore it out hiking hundreds of miles, mostly through the southwest. Now I have an iPhone XR and will use its camera exclusively. Unfortunately I can’t do much about the untold thousands of mediocre photos already on my laptop other than apply editing makeup to some of them. My goal here is to become more proficient in the digital photography and editing processes.
