Beautiful colours. I wonder what it looks like in b&w. I was once told by a pro that you can tell how good your image is if you look at its structure in b&w mode. What have you done in the way of editing?
You and me both, and yes totally agree, a great opportunity to get feedback from those that know more than you (& me!)
Really like the dof and the fact it is in b&w. I would like to see the image crispened up a bit and the top right corner a little darker. Just my preference, not a pro.

Maybe you could create a forum specifically for Macro work. I am an enthusiast and also new here!
Great, looking forward to some of your shots đŸ™‚ I am a major enthusiast en route to creating a part time business. I want real feedback on my shots so that my dream can become a viable reality.
Cheers,
Alison
Gorgeous use of light. I am not a pro so my comments should be taken in that context. I would see if I could enhance the greens a little and the road detail. I wonder how this would look alternatively in black & white, as it has a real range of highlight/shadow.
Nice work, Shadowman!

Thanks for your feedback. I don’t currently have PS but am getting it soon. I’ll hopefully be able to upgrade many of my images. In the meantime, I appreciate any of your thoughts and impressions.
Cheers,
Alison
Thanks for that – I am not using Photoshop yet and am in the enthusiast category. Tried to get an angle without the lines, but could not find one without a helicopter! I appreciate your comments, many thanks.
