I really like LR 4, and I’m thinking of upgrading to LR 5. For LR 4, you can look at http://tv.adobe.com/show/getting-started-with-adobe-photoshop-lightroom-4/

Thanks for the comments. This has a foreground subject of the flowering bush, and the idea was that the eye starts there and then follows the shadows from the trees to the railing, which leads to the bridge with all the people walking over it. It can be difficult to get detail in the darker black body, without blowing out highlights in the lighter areas, such as the flower. For one thing, I would shoot RAW, or RAW + Jpeg, if you don’t already. That will give you more exposure latitude when you use your editing software. I agree that you could back off on the saturation on the dragonfly, if you are going for a more realistic photo look vs a painted look.
