      An article on another site was discussing preoccupation with sharpness (and to a lesser degree, megapixels). My comment there was that when forum comments were mostly focussing on GAS, I would dig out a book from my shelves or view a site that dealt more with classic work.
      I know that many of those photographers were probably using equipment that was cutting-edge for that time, the pictures have held up well over time.
      Doing that prevents me from lusting over equipment and occasionally gives me inspiration to go out and improve my own shots.

        Crystal, I fully understand poor eyesight.

        The D7200 has a focus indicator in the lower left of the viewfinder for manual focus (page 97 of the manual).

        In Live View, the square indicator should turn green when focus is achieved. There’s also a zoom function (page 38) that might help.
