I find the flower box behind the horse distracting, a narrower depth of field would have been better. I think a darkening vignette would draw you to the subject more.

The bird’s contrast is too low. Add some clarity and vibrancy in Lightroom, about 25/25. This will increase the saturation in the feathers, and make the eyes stand out. The facial features need to draw me into the image.
