          There seems to be a well defined square around the middle group of people.?Margins of the mask.

          I also think that a mono conversion would enhance the mood of the Photo.

            Cropping the bottom of the frame would remove most of the mothers blouse, which is too prominent in the photo.

              Cropping out the lamp posts at the top makes for a stronger composition.Otherwise I quite like the shot.

                Hi Andy

                We all have the problem of being at a picturesque spot at the wrong time of the day.There seems to be a lot of haze in the back ground.My suggestions:

                Crop the lake just below the swan.

                Remove some of the featureless sky while avoiding a central horizon.Level horizon.

                Try dehazing in Lightroom or PS or Affinity Photo.

                If possible retake during the golden hour.

                  Try cropping out most of the trees on the right,make it a portrait format.You would lose the blurred trees and improve the composition.Monochrome would probably work.

                    Excellent shot.Maybe add a little contrast and as others have mentioned,lighten the foreground shadows.
