Hi Rob yeah love the original……but would crop the l/h tree and the top to keep landscape format….would then lighten and convert b&w…..hey these things are all personal….vignettes work to isolate a subject,but here,imo,the interest is the boys head interacting with the foliage….also crop the building,top right!! 🙂

Hi Richard…yeah love the compo…..but the main focal point,sand pattern,is totally lacking in light and contrast plus very noisy…..guess though u know what yer doing with the equiptment yer using! 🙂

I would give her a little more space to look into(but not as far as on the third) and get lower with the camera,I like that the space adds to the sadness and emptiness …..great subject and this effort pretty good ! 🙂

wot I’m trying to say is image making doesn’t all come from magazines…..been there,not knocking,good learning…..people captured just doing ordinary….with some balance in a dull,usually,world.

there are images everywhere for the image maker who looks………sunday papers magazines often rerun images from the past……..now is history in a few years time! 🙂

hey not saying this is brilliant….just saying it is man

tis easy….just get out there and take whats often mundane….but balance is important..and that’s just a learning curve………..but whats really important is that its your reflection/angle on life…like its a mirror on you….get there man and your not just a photographer but showing others a window through onto your life…..happy or sad etc…………

Well id be pretty well pleased with this shot Lenny….not stating cus I’m under scrutiny and duress……sky great,multiple shapes great,bird great…………ah the floats,brilliant,why I hear…cus ones grey and anothers got a red cap…image that keeps giving….tis the ST so and rightly in my eyes….oversaturated….toned down lovely! 🙂

as for introverts…..mmmm…..yes and no,better word would be detached……consider this’REM’when out and about are you in camera mode or normal…….can be in normal with camera mode,equally with camera but normal….with camera in camera mode….maybe just me….gets the shots… 🙂

taking pictures is antisocial in two ways…..one your intruding and two your not taking part……depressing on that level but a high when producing an interesting image…….god I’m torn.
