I think it’s a real problem the bride isn’t looking at the guy (her father?) who’s about to give her a kiss.

The splash is caused simply by the waves breaking on the shore. The waves on Lake Erie are never very big. These were 2-3 feet high. I had the camera right down at the sand to shoot very obliquely across at the sun.

Using Don’s comments I lightened up the foreground to bring out more detail on the waves. I also removed some of the small, bright clouds near the sun. Thanks, @photodon.
For feedback I seeking any general comments or impressions from others.

I’d crop out or otherwise hide the rock in the lower left. It seems to have a bit too much saturation/clarity. Maybe increase the exposure on the mountains.

It’s hard to tell what the center of interest is in the picture. The largest flower is turned almost sideways to the camera. The center front is fairly empty. I try to get a shot that positions the largest blossom using the rule of thirds. If you’re using Lightroom try increasing the Clarity to see if you can make the image a little less flot.
