Thank you! This lake is very close to a turn around point for O’Hare. While there are not as many planes as when I used to live right next to O’Hare, it is hard to avoid them.

My apologies…

This shot was inspired by a macro project in a magazine. Here are the basic stats:

100mm macro lens
f3.2
1/40
ISO 800
no flash
manual focus
distance from subject: .5m

M&Ms were placed on a black folder. Sheet of glass was propped less than 12 inches above. Sprayed glass with RainX glass cleaner to help water bead up on the glass when I sprayed it. Focused through the beads of water to the candies.
