Allows Edits? Noi think you just commited the ultimate nerdom sacrilege there lenny.
fallout is a popular game series of a post nuclear apocalyptic world. it recently got its own tv series on amazon. in the fallout world, the bombs dropped on a future society where the world never really progressed past mid century modern, so you see a lot of ruined pick up trucks and furniture from the usa’s 50s & 60s era. similar to what you’ve shown here.

Allows Edits? Nothere’s still a slant on the verticals. i think the b&w version is best but i’d still like to see more contrast, some true black and white tones. check your skies, there’s a little bit of a halo on the edge of the building up top.

Allows Edits? Norobert pretty much hits the nail on the head with his last sentence. take photos of little tiny things and make them look big on your screen. don’t worry about the actual magnification.

Allows Edits? No1:1 just means that the size of the object is the same size on the sensor. ie, if you take a photo of a ruler, the inch marks will be an actual inch apart on the sensor. if you photographed the ruler at 1:2 magnification, your inch marks would be 1/2 inch apart on the sensor. you can take a 1:2 photo with a lens capable of taking a 1:1 magnification image, however you can’t take a 1:1 magnification photo with a lens that can only focus close enough to take a 1:2 magnification photo. at least, not without some help from something like extension tubes or other black magic.
1:2.8 is the aperture, not the macro magnification. if you look at any of your other lenses, they likely have the same 1:aperture markings.

Allows Edits? Nothe overly saturated blue sky works well against the warmer colors and light on the cathedral. and i really appreciate that you took the time to get your verticals vertical. great photo.

Allows Edits? Noperfect timing on the second one. just a few more seconds and i’m sure the spaceship wouldn’t have been lined up as perfectly. great job!
seriously though, i like the comp. and view of devils tower. this is one of the few places i haven’t been out west, despite driving by it every year. i think i’ve even seen it from the interstate a few times. this is a much different view of the monument than i’ve seen from the usual shots.
