I find this interesting as well , a collection of images like this would make a nice series.
I much prefer the colour version myself the yellows and greens work well with the rust and the brickwork behind the door , i think adding a little structure to the shattered glass , just to pull some of the texture and detail up a touch.
Overall i like the image , Thanks for showing Lenny.

Love it Lenny, there’s definitely a place for shots like this. I agree with Patrick, and think the colour works better than the B/W.

Patrick, I added some texture to the window and it works. Thanks!
Diane, I usually lean toward BW but the colors so work well here.

i think you just commited the ultimate nerdom sacrilege there lenny.
fallout is a popular game series of a post nuclear apocalyptic world. it recently got its own tv series on amazon. in the fallout world, the bombs dropped on a future society where the world never really progressed past mid century modern, so you see a lot of ruined pick up trucks and furniture from the usa’s 50s & 60s era. similar to what you’ve shown here.

Thank you Beth! I live in life in the slow lane and I don’t watch much TV except food porn and photography stuff on youtube. Thanks for the info.

Love your image, Lenny, wow! You make me want to know more about the back story, and I wonder where/how/why you came across a garden that would have this? Great storytelling with an unknown mystery. Need I mention, where did the bullet hole and the rocket come from?

Hi Marty.
Thank your for your comment! I keep looking and wondering what the heck is the story? I found this in an old almost abandoned silver mining town in the mountains outside of La Paz, BCS, Mexico. English mine owners. It was leaning against the wall in an overgrown garden in the back of a restaurant. -
