Thanks Patrick, I have more to post that will show the desert, I got a bit excited with the close ups as I got within 3 meters of these animals without them taking off, usually if you’re within a kilometer of them they  are on the run . This family group of four was really curious about me.

Probably because he has had training from some of the best teachers in the world, The US Army, to take in everything in a scene around him and notice inconsistencies in it, that works on photos too. Based on how he worded his post , no embellishments, Just a report on the scene.

The Tuqashi in the Denali, another nice Shot Hank. Tuqashi means “Things that Fall into Water”, from all the Rock Slides. Tokosha was the name given by Cook, which meant “Treeless” Which is the Difference between Living there and visiting there. I should stop playing tour guide.

I was on Military Bases, one Near the City of Cordova, the other very north and very remote.
I do Still have Family in Anchorage, most folks that live in the bush wouldn’t know the difference between a hard or easy life, it’s just life to them.

This Part of the Forest has always made me feel a bit uncomfortable, Trees with Their Very Bowels Exposed and a Snake Crawling Out. Can’t imagine why.
