I like the composition in photo 6 , it has a very Gregory Crewdson look to it , The lady with the swimming cap facing the camera , again a nice frame and again it reminds me of a martin parr image style

I was not familiar with the work of Gregory Crewdson until you mentioned his name.

It’s interesting that you’ve made the connection with my work, as none of the images I shared were staged and all follow the strict journalistic ethics we have in the U.S.

That 1 image has the type of composition and colour pallet i see from him nothing more than that , it’s clear for anyone to see your photos are not staged.

The image with the lady in the swimming cap makes me think of a Martin Parr style frame , bold and with great color combos 🙂

Martin Parr is another photographer I am not familiar with. Looking at his work, I think about the only thing he and I may have in common is similar use of color with this one pool picture.

We all have some photos that have the look of other photographers work , it’s only natural i think we all carry some influence even if not intended , we see so many photos in this day and age they ( some more than others ) plant themselves deep into your mind and it is not something we deliberately do it just happens.

I was at a safe striking distance but able to zoom in closer during post-production. I’ve come across several in Arizona. This one had just eaten – there was a large lump further down in its body. It’s as close as I ever wish to get!

Great shot. Is this a street performer? Can you tell me a little about his costume and what he’s doing? Singing, dancing, playing instruments, street theater? @patrickw-2

Morris dancing is a celebration, a display of dance and music performed at seasonal festivals and holidays to banish the dark of winter, celebrate the warmth and fertility of summer , this was a street art festival , the festival kicks of tomorrow here in belfast so i will be there getting a few images , my friend is also doing a piece i collaborated on with him so can’t wait to see one of my bits on the wall 🙂
