So glad I could get this fixed for you guys! I’m sorry we couldn’t figure it out sooner – sneaky gremlins hiding from us admins. 😉
Actually, I think I may have figured it out! There’s a bug in bbPress that causes replies to not function as intended when there’s no WordPress admin bar. We disabled the admin bar for non-admins with this new format, so that’s what caused the issue and explains why none of us admins could replicate the problem you guys were reporting!
I enabled a fix for the issue – give it a try and let us know if it’s working for you now. *fingers crossed*
I’d like to try and figure this out, as I can’t replicate the issue myself. Would one of you please share your browser details (name and version) along with device (i.e. laptop, desktop, iPad, etc.)? If you could take a video capture of your screen as it happens, that would be even better, but I know not everyone has those kinds of tools!

As for the Activity Stream, it’s most likely a browser issue. If you clear your cache and refresh the page, it should be back to normal.

@vasanth: I’m looking into adding the reply form to the bottom of each page of paginated forum threads. Thanks for the suggestion! As for the member panel at the bottom of the page, the links should be working now. Please let us know if you notice anything else! Reports from members are incredibly helpful.
@koert: I’ve just sent a message with no problems at all with sending or on the receiving end–are you still having trouble? If so, can you please post the exact error message you’re receiving (just copy-and-paste), and I’ll look into it further!
