Allows Edits? NoLight definitely needs to be more balanced. I agree with a little more from the right.

Allows Edits? NoI like the tonal range, sharpness and clarity in the first shot better but find the object in the DOF distracting.
Removing the objecting following photos you lost tonal range, sharpness and clarity.

Allows Edits? NoExtreme silhouetting and would be a better shot with the bird showing in the right first third of the photo.

Allows Edits? NoI had seen this shoe in the road and wanted to shoot it in a meaningful way but to me no angle would work. I decided to pick up the shoe and create something that would. On the way home I ran across a very old cemetery and a thought form hit me, “Lost Soul”. I pulled in and set the stage for this shot titling it “Lost Sole”.

Allows Edits? NoThank you @falx. I feel like the flower worked ok for the main subject as the eye is immediately drawn to it. However, the contrast also aides in pulling the eye to the flower. I did use a little blurring, once again, leading the eye to the flower. I like the 3D effect you get when looking at but not focusing on the flower. You are a good observer and I know you weren’t telling me I was wrong. We both know photography is 100% subjective. However, if one is trying to sell their work in a particular genre, the work has to appeal to the majority even if it is a photo of a garbage dump.

Allows Edits? NoThank you @diogo405. The barn was on a lower grade the the flower. To get more grass the barn would have been lost to the horizon. I might agree with a little more definition to the barn but not a lot.

Allows Edits? NoI would have gotten down low and took a closer shot of the golfers with the mountains in a shallow DOF. That would bring the eye to the golfers if they were to be the main subjects.

Allows Edits? NoI would re-shoot with a person coming in from the right, moving to the left and make sure there is no bus or anything else for that matter.

Allows Edits? NoThe fifth one is very nice, however, I would have liked to see some of the forefront maples covered with snow with a little more sharpness.
