I would second what @gordonjames said and add something; for me the large foreground shadow(s) were distracting. I see that if you were to shoot from in front of them you’d lose the upward slope of the bridge structure. Is it possible to shoot the same shot at a different time of day, or perhaps on a cloudy day?

Firstly, thank you everyone for the comments!
@renaesoleil99 – I’m in the UK so it is a right hand drive
@aarongeis – thanks, I missed that one somehow, I will try to crop it out and see if I can get rid of some of the dirt from my windscreen 🙂
@maineaudidriver – the framing is definitely something I can work on, I think I rushed the set…[Read more]

@renaesoleil99, I didn’t mean to be racial. Some masking and exposure adjustments is what I was hinting at. 😉
You do bring up a good point though that I didn’t think about! 🙂Check It Out

I agree with @renaesoleil99. However for me the color seems a little bland and monotone. I don’t know if it’s just the town or not but have you thought about messing with the color saturation some to really bring out the reds and blues of the pier and water but be careful you don’t over saturate the sky. I like that as it is.Check It Out

@renaesoleil99 I shake a bit as well so everything I shoot is on tripos. I guess at my age shaking is expected but it is not to bad but bad enough that i need the tripod for crisp pics.Check It Out

@renaesoleil99: “I am not getting crystal clear shots from my 70-200mm f4.5 AF DX Nikkor lens.”
Try to find the 70-200mm f2.8 VRI second hand. It’s absoloutely worth it and clear enough in the DX zone to use with the TC14E II / TC20 III without loosing much IQ, if any at all. It will effectively give you a 390mm range with the 1.4 x TC and…[Read more]

Thank you so much for you input @renaesoleil99 the photo was just a little test shot as it was taken with a semi – fisheye lens attachment on which someone gave me here is the full image minus the black frame circle. Silly place to take the photo I know but I had my son in a pushchair at the time lol
