Allows Edits? YesAbsolutely – I forgot. I friend and I take short day trips around Arizona to shoot. We are at about the same skill level and we learn a lot from each other. This was taken at Roosevelt Lake. I used my Nikon D3100 for most of the shots but ended up taking a couple of good ones with my new iPhone 5.

ISO 40Roosevelt bridge was built to divert traffic from driving over the dam and named one of the top 12 bridges in the nation in 1995. It is the longest two-lane, single-span, steel-arch bridge in North America!

Allows Edits? YesI agree with the other comments in that, the yellow has interest and the colors in the leaf are not rich enough to draw the eye there first. I would do some post production and repost. 🙂 Great shot though!

Allows Edits? YesYou weren’t at all. It’s a common issue. I just got back from vacation and have to do some heavy editing to make sure we are both visible. LOL

Allows Edits? YesI had to laugh a little because @maineaudidriver pointed out something interracial couples deal with all the time. Being in one myself, I know the challenges of overexposing or underexposing one person so that the other person shows up.
It would have been a better shot if the rings were in focus. The bracelet distracts from the rings, also. The graduated background is nice. The lighting looks straight on which could be the cause of the hand on top being blown out. Side lighting might help with the contrast.

Allows Edits? YesI think the original colors would bring more depth and interest to this shot. It is a little flat and bright.

Allows Edits? YesVery cool motion shot effect. It does as you intended. I, too, am not crazy about the blue/green hues. Is this a “mirror” image or are you driving a European car?

Allows Edits? YesSaturation could be improved as well. Interesting if you read your description but at first glance of the shot, not so much.

Allows Edits? YesThis would be an interesting B&W if it were in focus.

Allows Edits? YesThe shot is a little light and out of focus. Cute little girl, though.

Allows Edits? YesThis was actually taken on my Panasonic point & shoot. Here are the settings according to the metadata:
ISO 125
f/4.9
1/100 shutterI was driving to work when the sky lit up and I scrambled out of the car looking for the best POV and found it in front of this sappling. I took another shot with a saguaro in the foreground but liked this one better.

Allows Edits? YesThe picture is a little cool (blue) but agree with @pinotguy. Love the soft edges and bokeh.

Allows Edits? YesSo I’m confused, you like or dislike the foreground out of focus? Still learning techniques so love input from others.

Allows Edits? YesThe contrast is a little light. You can increase the shadows in Lightroom, not sure what you use. POV is ok, but I might have tried a little lower, looking up to get a more dramatic shot.
I love shooting cemeteries and memorials, too. Good content, centering and headroom. Bokeh is good.

Allows Edits? YesAwesome info on the lens, thank you!
I purchased a Targus Red Pro Series 60″ 3-Way Panhead and Bubble Level Tripod, TG-P60T for $45 at Wal-mart because I liked that it would go down to the ground level for macro flower/insect shots and low perspective like the shot above.
The center support comes out and the will go down to about 6-8″. I shake a bit so I use my tripod for almost every shot and love that this one is compact, and flexible.

Allows Edits? YesThe house, fence and sky are fabulous and have great definition and POV. I agree with the previous post that the car and trash cans distract and take away from an otherwise great shot. I would try to crop those out and repost.

Allows Edits? YesIs this an HDR image? The clouds are exceptional. The horizon does split right down the middle which violates the “rule of thirds” but the pier breaks that up nicely.
