I agree about the t-shirt graphic. I am not opposed to the dark background. Really like how you could get her to be still long enough to get the great focus on her eyes. I think it is so funny that children in this age bracket suddenly don’t like having their picture taken. Makes for great “personality” shots.Check It Out

These shots certainly make me want to check out the house! Your lighting really highlights the openness of the floor plan. The realtor must love your work!Check It Out

Oh, wow! If you hadn’t explained about the blue eyes, I would have it was the snake version of “red eye” from flash. Learning so much from your sharing your pets…although I will stick to the warm and fuzzy canines.Check It Out

I have to disagree with @valeryp. Some things are meant to be seen in the full glory of their symmetry. This is one of them. If this photo were shifted off center the depths from front to side turrets would be diminished. Not everything has to be/ or should be “on the thirds”. And yes, one can crop using a horizontal rule of thirds versus a…[Read more]

Rebecca LaChance replied to the topic Discomporting Reflective Tranquility in the forum The Shark Tank Feedback Forum 10y, 3mo ago
Interesting angle – but I’m sorry – I don’t get it. What is discomporting? The angle of the promontory? The angle of the bush? I don’t see the reflectiveness and how can it be tranquil if it’s discomporting? I suspect if the horizon were level, it would be even more discomporting. Interesting use of color.Check It Out

I like the contrast between the background and her hair color. I think you did a very good job of capturing the “mindfulness” of a 2 year old through her eyes. Check It Out

Is the sight still experiencing technical difficulties? When I visit different photos in the Shark Tank (or anywhere for that matter) none of the comments show up – just the photo.
Prior to yesterday, I could go to a picture and see all the comments.
Thanks!Check It Out

Agree with @bugadrienne about the petals being lost off the left side. Perhaps even add a touch more negative space on the right as well. Good B&W subject.Check It Out

I prefer this original. I tend to gravitate towards brighter colors. And I like this second crop better than the HDR version – it could be cropped even a tad more to remove the gravelly mud at the bottom. That gravelly mud reminds me of a stagnant puddle and really detracts.Check It Out
