Feel me….Touch me….Free me
at Safari Park, Bangkok, Thailandi love the composition, as I like to have people in teh frame as always. However, focusing on teh lights on the railway track is not what i liked, wish there could be more sharp objects to focus on and making the people oon the platform more blur with still lower DOF. coud there be a more interesting pix. I wonder !may be you already have tried that option !
love the idea and really eager to see all the above comments implemented. however, would like to know, how at f16, jug behind are thrown out of focus !!! can you please share the camera model and lens used ?
i woudl llike to have apple in darker shade to show the contrast with white jugs behind. or else red apple with rest in BnW will be great, but I donot know if we can do that without photoshop (as I donot use Photoshop), can LR do that ?guess, out of focus. also would love to take a horizontal flat shot from front for bigger impact.
hi, would like to know the result comparasion between 70-200/f2.8 and 300/f4 for birding. though its not critique of the given pix, but I am wondering of my next upgrade from sigma 150-500/f5.6-6.3 as I am loosing sharpness with sigma. thanks in advance.
hi, why donot you share with us the exif deatils, so that we can all learn a bot more about the settign which causing this problem of distrotion. however, i love the beautiful sky and the small hill as erect tall. on left corner, sky is looking more bluish, is it due to extra luminamce created in PP !
@zeephototaker thanks, I would have gone ahead with the same exif for sure. so its worth trying with tripod and work on sharp focus. cheers
yes I agree with @tobiepsg- to go down a little and lift up the camera. Going behind a few steps would probably expose the small rock at right bottom corner of the pix, can be a good foreground.
I am not sure about the sharp focus, is it clear enough or its my PC screen issue !! hope its focussed at hyperfocal ! I would also like to know the exif details of the shot. for ladscape with long exposure (which is the case here), I would use higher than f11…f16 or even f18 of aperture and ensure all are in focus.
I am refreshing my learnings đŸ™‚BTW can u pls share the exif pls.
I like it better now, as it fills the frame nicely…only issue remain is getting more sharpness in thsi photo, which tripod and another shot is worth a try đŸ™‚
thanks @zeephototaker for all the trouble of re-editing, but its a good learning for all of us.July 22, 2014 at 1:01 am in reply to: my first upload for your valuable suggestion ! pls help #144095@tobiepsg thanks tobie, will try over the some weekend and repost. I can try grad filter on water on 1st photo and lighten the mountains. I have not done anythign on the gloss between these two photos, only moved the shadow slider to right to expose the details around mountains more.
will surely try a few more options.July 22, 2014 at 12:28 am in reply to: my first upload for your valuable suggestion ! pls help #144091@markspinner
thanks a ton. your feedback is highly appreciated and will improve my skills as a hobby photographer.@zeephototaker actually only that corner bakground color is very brigt as compared to rest, so i though may be better to remove. but I also relaise the stem of teh leaf may get removed by that process !
no worries, learning is look at the corners too ! we are learning together, cheers.i would love to go back a few more steps to capture more of blue sky and surroundings !
great try, I face the same problem even with my Sigma 150-500 as I copare them with others 300/f4 lens. they are sharper with more details. yes, one prime reason coudl always be I am not that close. thanks for the discussion. btw nice catch of the landing. do you have few more shots ? i was wondering abt a shot one or two before …will it be more interesting ?
nice capture of the waterdroplets, which generally skips my eyes.
I like the second one, mostly becoz its comparatively sraper and with darker background, image is popped up. may be we need a little more contrast and sharpness in the photo. I could only try one more shot with framing the leaf from one corner.thanks for the feedback. will do the cropping and see.
I was taking one shot at a time during panning, as I move the camera on monopod parallel to the plane, which takes a few seconds. i am not sure in continuous mode, if I will get the blurry effect, will surely try next time.
appreciate your feedback.July 19, 2014 at 9:37 am in reply to: my first upload for your valuable suggestion ! pls help #143885the link.
