Thanks, drones can be a nuisance but the drone itself is not the problem, it is the operator. As technology advances we encounter more things to be concerned over. I imagine that the local species were quite upset when the first gas-powered vehicle rumbled over the savanna.
Earlier last year someone was operating a drone over a Reniassance Fair in Central Russia only to have it speared out of the sky.
Robert, the FAA controls the airspace over your property and there is no set limit to how high your rights extend. Drones over a specific weight must be registered with the FAA (in the US). To register you must agree to keeping the drone under 400 ft, not fly over people and not within 5 miles of an airport.
You might be in the wrong if you shoot a drone out of the sky that is there for legal purposes such as law enforcement, aerial mapping or surveying, inspection or even being used for commercial purposes.
I think that the point of the law is if the drone is harassing you, you have a right to take action, However, your interpretation of harassment and someone els’s are the things that keep lawyers employed.

Thanks, it was even prettier in the ‘golden hour’. I had to sell it because I lost my contract and had to take 50% pay cut. Couldn’t afford it anymore. Someday I will have an SS (I hope).

Kent, Uelsmann works solely with film and his images are created in the darkroom. I have very much admired his work being a student of photography long before digital myself.
Thank you for the recognition.
Chris, thanks so much for your comments! A book cover?!!?? Great compliment. I’ll try your suggestions.
Hi Mist, I’m not sure what you mean by push him up. Make him larger? Smaller? Make him higher in the frame or lower?
Thanks!
