Thanks! I tried Photoshop and Lightroom. Didn’t even think of Camera Raw.
This was taken in the spring when the lake was thawing. Seagulls are a pain but I couldn’t resist this as I thought a fight was brewing. Just as I snapped this picture passersby scared them all and they flew away. When they noticed I was shooting they apologized. Oh well, it is what it is.

Ok? I see that 3pco answered a post and then added his picture of food. I was simply going along with the post about how advice was given on Shark Tank. Then yes I did add picture at the end. Not so different then I have seen before. So my comment should have been here and then the picture should have been elsewhere? I am embarrassed to say that I am not savvy on these things.
I have to say that the first time I posted here the critiques were helpful. I have been on other photo sites and everyone seems to be in there “groups” and everything is a good picture. I came here because although I have been taking pictures for a few years I know I have a lot to learn and also shy away from criticism. So be true but be kind. Last time I did post a picture that I needed advise on, this one is one of my favorites. As far as critiquing people myself, right now I think I am just going to read.
I have a bike path 3 mins drive from work and 1/2 hr lunch. Most of the time when the weather is good, I drive there stay 20 minutes and drive back. I saw this and decided to go back after work when I had more time and was surprised to see the sun low enough to be shining on the grass. I took this 1/250 at f10.
I do agree. Thank you both!

I wished I could have brought a ladder back there and take that picture at a higher level. Although I have been taking pictures for awhile, I’m still shy at a lot of things that are holding me back. Like asking questions and putting myself out there in public. That being said…going back and looking at the picture, I still like the table. Somehow it “grounds” the photo for me. How about something like this? I am not being argumentative, for some reason the picture doesn’t make it for me without the table?
Ed,
Bracketing probably would have help the bridge photo. Again, things I know that I don’t do. 🙁
Thank you Billyspad. One of my problems is that I did know everything you said. I forget to stop and compose before taking the picture. Thanks for the reminders. That is something I need to change. Let’s try this one. I know I took time here to compose. Shutter speed of 1/160th ISO is 400 Focal length 85mm and aperture at F8.
