      A black and white image works best when it’s simple. Swans are great subjects, they are so elegant … which is what this shot tries to capture.

                  Having a problem today with my album. Some of the photos have a comment disable message coming up underneath, but in edit the comment button is on enable. The three shots I uploaded today seem to be okay but the older ones, some of which did have replys on them are the ones coming up with disabled message. Help please :0)

                              I almost always take in colour and then change into b&w. Although recently I’ve taken some shots on the SCN – colour accent mode which gave some good effects. I do look at things as to whether it would come out in b&w. I think too much detail, especially in landscape is difficult and unsuitable – the simpler the comp, sometimes the better it works. But of course there are always exceptions and I’m always looking to learn new tricks :0)
