My name is Rex Beyer. I started back into photography about 7 years ago, after putting it on hold for over 25 years. I look forward to learning from other photographers, getting and giving feedback and CC, and becoming the best photography I can be. I like taking all kinds of photos, but primarily take nature and landscape; I haven’t found my niche, if I ever will. I’d like to try out street photography and street portraits, but still unsure and a little intimidated.

Welcome to LightStalking, Rex. My photography story is a lot like yours, including the long “sabbatical” and new found interest in street photography. If you solve the courage problem with this genre, please share! SharkTank is the critique forum, but we have non-critique forums, also. I hope you will choose one and start posting.

Thank you for your welcome. I’m still figuring out the website. I will start posting when I get more oriented. FYI On the subject of street photography I found a podcast that was interesting. I’ve only listened to a couple episodes. You may want to check it out if you aren’t already familiar with it. It’s called TWIP Street Focus. Thanks again. REX

I think we live in parallel photography universes. I have never listened to podcasts until about four weeks ago. I have have subscribed to Street Focus. I found the episode on copyright law fascinating.

Parallel Photography universes or great minds think alike? 🙂
I also found podcast on copyright interesting – especially on registering images with the copyright office. That was something I wasn’t aware of.
