Does my blue shadow count as blue?
Hi all
I am very happy to see you all, some again, others for the first time.
You are right Rob, we meet at Flickr from time to time, Tersa, we also meet at Flickr. Elin I have met in person – Iceland is small.
And thanks for the help, I have not got dirty sensor problem for a long time, and then it showed in every photo and in another camera.

I understand you as asking for snow photos in general.
They tend to be underexposed, as the camera tend to choose the white snow as neutral grey. It can vary with light how much you will add to the aperture. I often start with one full stop up and adjust if some areas are blown out in the highlights.
Then it is the play in the lightroom. Tweeking the highlights down, and even the white up a bitt – but very carefully. Dehaze and texture can also help, but with very light hand.Hi @Federico
Yes I hope I get it cleaned soon. No one answered the phone at the service place today, so I do not know the situation there. Here some places have closed down, but it is not an order if you can keep the 2 meter distance between customers and customer and personell. I guess I will find out mondayHi Kent
Now I have corrected the photos
Yes I was wondering if the sensor might be dirty because I have cleaned my lenses thoroughly.
So it will be service
Thank you very much for your kind help

Beautiful photo and the colours are great. I would try out to take a bit of the top as the photo is rather heavy at the bottom.
Congrats 🙂
Great photo – just the right moment
To keep a deep focus you need a small f (big number). Photographing still objects like houses does not call for high speed. And specially since you afterward process in movement in the sky you should have used much less speed. Then in the processing you might have lightened the dark houses a tone.
