This is one of our international waterways for freighter and cargo passage in the Great Lakes. It is completely frozen, making passage un-passable at the time I took this photo last week. Brr….it’s cold out there!

Another person identified this one for me as a trillium. It was growing wild in my yard and looked like a weed, until I got really close and found this.
One of the 10 oldest lighthouses in Michigan, sitting on the shores of Lake Huron.
These were taken last month at a “Country Tractor-Pull..” These two pieces of farm equipment are really old, one is stamped “1911” and the other is from the “1920’s.” Amazingly enough, they both still fire up and work!
This is the first sprout of a red lily plant. The size of this is about the size of a quarter. Today, the size of the same plant is about 2′ tall, and all of the buds are getting ready to bloom!
Reuben, This was the original photo I used. It is a skyline view from Comerica Park in Detroit. I got the round photo using the polar filter in PSE 11. They are fun to make, but I needed to take out the line in the center.
Just for fun – A Small World
Catching Rays shows the light hitting a small blossom, where the trees are blooming all over here now. The light shows how thin the petals are in which you can see all of the tiny veins throughout.
This is an abstract, easily recognizable, but has the details of light, lines, and curves with a few water drops thrown in.
Forgot to resize these first, and now I do not know how to delete and repost in a smaller size. Working on it, sorry everyone.
