Not really much negative I could say about this one. I really like it. Good focus, good bokeh. However 1 thing you might try doing is if you have photoshop is using an unsharp mask and uncover the eyes to really make them sharp and pop.Check It Out

The rule of thirds is good however if you are looking for a crop suggestion I would try leaving a little more at top that way the roostertail is not cut off.Check It Out

I like the concept however from the top of the head it looks like he is holding a hairball since you really don’t see anything else of the baby. I would try a view from the top (front) of the baby where it shows the babies face and limbs obscuring the dads hands.Check It Out

I really like the angle a lot better however the shadow is still quite noticable. Good picture though.Check It Out

1 thing I would have done would be to get at a different angle in respect to the front of the car that way you could see more of the front of the car as well as down the sideCheck It Out

If you have photoshop, try using an unsharp mask layer then uncovering the eyes. There are tutorials on youtube. this will make the picture softer and when you uncover the eyes it will really make them pop.Check It Out

Awesome shot, there really isn’t much I can critique about this shot. I love the color/saturation, lighting is good and the bokeh is awesome. However I might try playing with the highlights and see what that does. Just for your personal prefference. You are correct though about the birds legs being hidden behind part of the stump but what is there…[Read more]

I like the composition, hoever there are a few small things that I personally might have changed. I do like the way the words trail off but I might have taken a step or two to the right so that they might be a little more readable, they are also competeing with the light that is glaring off the building which I would darken in post. Another thing…[Read more]

OMG you are absolutely right @michael-lloyd about the blue wood but you also have to take into account that the tree is in the shadows which might give it a slight blue hue. however you are right in the fact that the blue was too strong.Check It Out

I did think about applying a B&W layer mask and adding full color to the flag but for some reason I didn’t think it would do the picture justice. It is meant to be a somber picture.Check It Out

You are correct @michael-lloyd I did move the saturation up however I am a fan of high contrast and a little higher (but believeable) saturation. maybe I did move it up a little higher than what I should have. give me a few minutes and see if I can fix it.Check It Out

How is this @fcalesso and @caimi ? I used the original picture and lightened the foreground some to show detail. Do I need to go lighter or is that about right?Check It Out

I personally think the foreground is a little dark and the background is too light. Try working with your contrast some and see if this can be adjustedCheck It Out

Hopefully I was able to help a little and not mess anything up. What I did was clone the sky to get the black corner out, also I used the blue sky filter in PSE 12 to give the sky some color. I also decreased the contrast and the highlights so the sky won’t be so overpowering and you can see the detail and…[Read more]
