Hi all,
First of all, I have to apologize for my english, if something is wrong (I am spanish).
Second thanks to all of you for your feedback, this is my first Shark Tank and I am learning a lot by the moment, mainly in order to see my pics from another point of view.Lenny, you are right. Even if that story came to my mind when I took the photography, it does not necessary tell it to other people. The light was too harsh and I did not it well with it in the statue.
Falxy thanks for the support, and it is right that in this negative space the cloud looks more like a distraction.
Peter, thanks for your sincerity. I understand your reasoning and as the other colleagues i think you are right in the technical way.
I thought that one of the rules was to explain the aim of the photography, in order to receive feedback in a specific way. I had not tried to be philosophical or intellectual, is just the way i thought when I took and edited this shoot.
By the way i am totally agree with you, the pic has to tell the story by itself.I appreciate your feedback đŸ™‚
I hope to post something better in the future!John.

Hello Darren,
I would like to suggest you starting some kind of personal project, something like a ‘series’. Select a topic, or something you could tell and try to express it through your photography.
I hope you could find your style or at least enjoy the process! đŸ˜‰Hi Lenny!
This is my first comment in The Shark Tank, so i’ll do my best! The idea of the image is great, but i think the colours doesn’t help because they are in similar scales of blue, and you have to search for subjects.
Thus, my eye goes to the broom due to leading lines and colour difference.
I am wondering how could be this pic in B&W, with the broom and the clear ground as subjects.Looks pretty well Simon!
“Fly” is awesome! I love it even more after reading the history.
It’s like sometimes I forget that there is a history behind every photography, and you made me aware about that again Robert.
Congratulations @robertapple ! -
